Inn’s Annual Closure
A reminder we will be closed Monday, January 2nd - February 8th in the new year for our annual maintenance and holiday time. This allows us to give some of our team time off, install new features and freshen up for you. We look forward to showing you what we’ve done when we’re back open at the Inn, Ancient Cedars Spa, The Pointe Restaurant, On the Rocks Bar and Driftwood Café on Friday, February 9th.

The Cox Bay Beach New Year’s Eve Fireworks are hosted by Pacific Sands Beach Resort, Cox Bay Beach Resort, and Long Beach Lodge Resort. Please use the public beach access and public parking. Parking is located at Cox Bay North (1431 Pacific Rim Highway) and Cox Bay South (Maltby Road), as well as at the Tofino Visitor Centre (1426 Pacific Rim Highway). With the absence of street (or beach) lights, it gets dark here. Bring your flashlights and headlamps!

Sheringham Distillery Tasting
In the spirit of the holiday season, we’d like to extend a warm invitation to join us for a remarkable evening of spirits and culinary delights with our valued partner, Sheringham Distillery. This spirit-tasting event, featuring the master distiller Jason MacIsaac, will take place on Saturday, December 23rd, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm in our Salal Room & Shoreline Terrace.
Sheringham Distillery, nestled in Langford on Southern Vancouver Island, is the brainchild of Jason and Alayne MacIsaac. Their journey began with a shared vision of crafting finely distilled spirits that embody the essence of the land and showcase bold culinary artistry. Echoing our own dedication to sustainability, Sheringham pays tribute to our environment by selecting quality seasonal ingredients, thoughtfully crafting each spirit’s flavour profile, and championing sustainable practices.
During this exclusive and complimentary event for you, our Wickaninnish Inn guests, Jason will share insights into their unique distillation process and the distinctive flavours while personally guiding you through a selection of Sheringham spirits, complemented with canapés expertly created by Chef Clayton.
We look forward welcoming you in Shoreline Terrace & Salal Room for this special tasting!
Holiday Light Tour
We are excited to welcome our coastal community back to our Holiday Light Tour of the Inn’s grounds and festive creations! Make sure to bring your reusable mug to savour a warm beverage while enjoying our holiday carolling and decorations! Our welcome ambassador will be collecting non-perishable goods and cash donations, which will be matched up to $2,000.00 by the Inn and shared between Fish and Loaves and Food Bank on the Edge, our local food banks. Don’t hesitate to wear your most festive outfit and join us in greeting our cheerful visitors!

Daily Christmas Advent Calendar Draw
We are pleased to invite you to our Driftwood Café this holiday season to experience our daily Christmas Advent Calendar Draw. Each day of this event, one of our hand-made yellow cedar boxes in the Café will be opened by one lucky visitor, who will win the gifts inside. Anyone at the Café at the time of the draw is eligible to win. We're excited to count down the days to Christmas with you!
